This is just one book in an adventure series for young readers. NewGate School’s lower elementary teacher chose a couple of these books for parents and friends to purchase at our annual school book fair for their classroom.
In The Mouse House, there was a very special dollhouse that Sophie Mouse wanted for herself but that her friend, Ellie, got for her birthday. Sophie Mouse struggles with feelings of jealousy, with improperly focused anger, and finally with experiencing relief when acknowledging these emotions and apologizing for her behavior.
Sophie Mouse found that she could have great fun creating miniature furnishings for Ellie’s dollhouse and that they could enjoy the house together.
