Neuromyths: Misconceptions about Your Child’s Brain

“Neuromyths are false ideas about the brain that do harm. Believing that people are either more “right-brained” or “left-brained” does harm in the same way as believing that girls are better at language and boys are better at math: these neuromyths keep people from reaching their own potential. In this talk we will look at some of the most common myths, what the current evidence says about them, and talk about ways to avoid mythical beliefs in the future.”
