Sometimes grandparents find it difficult to plan time together with older grandchildren because of the children’s (and family’s) busy schedule, discomfort about how to connect with children from this the technological age, or not knowing exactly what to do to engage them. We want to assure you that the bond created between you and your grandchildren and your ongoing unconditional love is more than enough. Simply spending time, listening, sharing families stories, and sharing life experience stories are all good. They really want hands on experiences with real people, especially you – like changing the oil on the car, doing needle work of some sort, planning the next family celebration, cooking together, getting out in nature on land or water, fixing the computer, teaching you something about the phone or computer, etc. Kathy and Margot have a lot to share!
